The Re-Dedication of England to Mary, Mother of God

In 1381 King Richard II of England, a Catholic nation faced with great political turmoil, sought the protection of Our Lady. At Westminster Abbey England was ‘set aside’ as a gift, a dowry, for Our Lady under her guidance and protection. Thus England received the title ‘Mary’s Dowry’.

On March 29, 2020, in an event filled with faith, hope and triumph, England was rededicated to Mary, Mother of God.
